shout out to my friend, rachel and her uber-talented, custom professional photography blog creating husband, jared for my new blog birthday present. this new blog will allow for my posted photos to be much bigger and its just so easy to customize and create. i also love how it has my sites url in it. so thank you to jared and rachel, i really appreciate it!

crissy : : senior session

crissy was super fun to photograph last year! she had me laughing at all her little specifications about where and what to photograph. but crissy has a beautiful spirit to match the amazing brown eyes on her and it was fun to work with her.

chelsey : : senior session

chelsey was a senior i photographed late season this year. it was supposed to be relatively warm though and it instead was cold and wet. but chelsey was amazing and easy to work with and it was great to do my first session with her horse as well. here were a few we got at the ranch.

merry christmas!

this afternoon i photographed a great big group of girls who were getting together for their christmas dinner and a fun night together. it was super fun because i think it brought back tons of high school memories of hanging out with huge groups of girls and doing the craziest things together and laughing all the time.
anyway, i wanted to post a quick one and give a little sneak preview of the adorable pictures yet to come...

michelle : : family session

here is another one i forgot to post! these 5 siblings were so great to work with because they just got along so well (or atleast for that hour they did)! i had a ton of favorites...

sista shoot : : freezing our booties off session!

seriously. it was freezing and these 4 girls were absolute rock stars! they just sat in wet snow like it was sand and shed their coats like it was summer. i had a blast with them and im sure their dad is going to love his photo christmas present :)

shauna : : senior session

i was just reviewing my portfolio and preparing for website revamping for 2009, and i ran acroos this session and i think i never blogged it. shauna was a late season senior that i photographed and i loved working and talking with her. she has this inner beauty that shown just as nicely as the outer beauty i captured.

lily : : portrait session

lily was adorable for her session last week! her parents actually implied that it was an "off day" for her so this is one little sweetie! we started out in the cold for a few winter photos and then warmed up inside to finish it off!

lindsey and jason

lindsey contacted me about doing a photo session with her and her husband of 2 years. they hadnt updated since their wedding photos and just wanted to do a session with the 2 of them (and their dog). we had a fun time just catching up (lindsey was a student of mine my first year teaching and shawn and jason hung out when shawn helped with youth group at our church). these two are soooo great together and symbolize all that is good about love and marriage. thanks you two for the super fun session and lindsey for the great straight face! :)

a quick preview of these 2 little brothers i photographed this morning. full of life and energy...it was a work out getting them to sit in the "little black paper space" assigned to them :) i wasnt sure if i got ANY of them together. then this one caught my eye...

reese : : kiddo session

this little one melted my heart the minute she walked in and let me pick her up. those adorable curls, gorgeous eyes, and sweet smile...too fun! i had a great time working with reese and her mom and aunt. we had quite the zoo here with our barking, gobbling and oo-oo-ah-ah-ing (that's what a monkey says, right?)

i photographed jadens aunts senior pictures a few months ago and recently had a session with jaden and his mom. this little man is one handsome kiddo!

ella : : one year session

i met ella and her mom this past summer at a portrait party when she was 6 months so i was thrilled to be able to photograph her one year pictures as well a few weeks ago! here's that little sweetie!
